[segment] Branding in event-branding campaigns

Event Design & Styling

It’s all about the details…

Every event – big or small – comes with it’s own unique set of challenges. If you’re in charge of pulling it all together, it can be hard to know where to start … and that’s exactly where we come in.

Inspiration, ideas, concept design and creative problem solving are our forte. An event plan is nothing without the details and we are all about the details!

We have over 10 years experience in large-scale events, including corporate recruitment summits across Europe; alumni reunion events for London Business School; careers fairs for Curtin University; outdoor design events Unwrapped: the marketplace; corporate brand launches; pop-up shops; weddings and private parties.

We’ve run enough events to span several lifetimes, so you can be sure we know what we’re doing. We think of the details, we plan, and we manage the risks (weather usually being the main culprit). We will work with your suppliers to get the best service or we can source suppliers who meet our standards.

If it’s a unique look you’re after we can custom make products to fit your style and budget.

If you need event  photography, we can help with that too.

Make your event the place to be

Why would an event need branding?

Does a concept called ‘the customer experience’ ring a bell? Ok, so that’s what we’re talking about. Sometimes, the only experience of your brand is going to be at an event. So if you’ve missed the boat on branding it properly then you’re in trouble.
Well, not if you get our help, you’re not.

Often seen as the most glamorous part of the marketing mix (by those who have never been involved in event management!), events can be a crucial element of your business model.

If delivering a hallmark event is a key part of your offer, then you need to make sure you are sending the right message. It’s your chance to showcase your best to your existing fans and the opportunity to impress and hopefully influence a new segment altogether.

The beauty of event branding is you can afford to be a bit more creative. This is your chance to attract an audience to a real-life experience, so you want the event to be aspirational and engaging. The content of the event and the potential benefits of participating must be made clear from the outset.

Event KPIs are often more straight-forward than overarching business goals, which can allow the branding process to be more easily defined.

But the event branding must still match up with your overall brand promise and the design elements should reflect part of your parent company’s brand personality, along a spectrum from conservative to highly creative.

The fun part of events is often the marketing collateral and merchandising opportunities it presents. Our recommendations will save you time and money, as well as garner compliments for your creative execution!

In addition to our core services, we can also advise on event management, merchandise, web content, the marketing mix, SEO, provide on-location photography, and pretty much anything else you need, with the help of our partners.[/segment]
